Newt Gingrich's Daughter Doesn't Seem to Know Who Her Father Is:
Truly, there are other, more important things to write about, but the Rude Pundit just couldn't face scribbling another "Man, those Republicans sure are motherfucking, obstructionist, traitor dickheads" post. Let's just let it stand as more or less uncontestably true: Those Republicans sure are motherfucking, obstructionist, traitor dickheads.

Luckily, he came across the latest scrawlings of conservative writer and speaker Jackie Gingrich Cushman, aka "NewtSpawn." Yes, yes, the daughter of the former Speaker of the House just wrote a "column" (if by "column," you mean, "the most craven attempt you have seen to get a father to love his child") that is so jaw-droppingly blind and so head-slappingly un-self-aware that you have to question if Ms. Cushman actually has ever met her own father, Newt Gingrich.

Because, see, the point of the column - and, really, you need to keep in mind that this was written by Newt Gingrich's daughter - is to ponder the question she poses early in it: "Why are the dually disgraced Eliot Spitzer and Anthony Weiner running for office after engaging in public peccadilloes that would have doubtless persuaded many a lesser man to stay home?"

Now, you might read that and go, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, there, Jackie. Have you ever read even the briefest biography of your father? You do know that there are reasons why he's called 'disgraced former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich,' right? Right? And that those reasons include fucking around on your mom with the woman who became his second wife and then fucking around on her?"

Strangely, or not, depending on your level of incredulity, Cushman doesn't mention dear old Dad, who had asked his second wife for an open marriage so he could bang the woman who became his third wife without feeling guilty, and his run for, you know, the presidency of the whole damn country as an example of a "pervert" trying to get back in good electoral graces.

Yes, Republicans continue to be motherfucking, obstructionist, traitor dickheads. And we could easily add "delusional" in there, too.
